This scene is from the Invader Zim episode: Planet Jackers. Zim's plans kept failing from releasing the Earth from the planet jacker's clutches so he instead used his voot cruisers wings to cut the shell around the planet in half to release the Earth. Just in time because the planet jacker's sun is right there!

Ah yes, thats one of my favourite Zim episodes...the whole concept is awesome and I always wondered what such a situation would be like in real life...especially when the shell breaks away and Dib looks into the red sky with the nearby sun...that would be freaky !
